Who was Christian Wolff?
Christian Wolff was one of the most eminent German philosophers between Leibniz and Kant. He applied a demonstrative, mathematical method to almost every subject of his day, and some see in it the high point of German Enlightenment rationalism.
He wrote mainly in German, translating his works into Latin for readers abroad, and helped found economics and public administration as academic subjects.
